Charging load management for electromobility

With the charging load management solution for electric vehicles, industrial and retail companies, hotels and clinics can provide their employees, customers and guests with charging facilities for electric vehicles without having to fear a cost explosion due to peak loads. The solution works manufacturer-independently with almost all charging infrastructures and wall charging stations. It also includes other consumers as well as the entire property's own generation and energy storage (e.g. company, hotel, clinic) in the charging load management.

Offering charging stations for electric vehicles is increasingly becoming a factor with which companies, hotels and restaurants, care homes, hospitals and infrastructure facilities can increase the satisfaction of employees and visitors and attract and retain customers. However, the additional consumers in the power grid can cause expensive peak loads and therefore represent an incalculable cost risk. With the charging load solution from econ solutions, such load peaks can be avoided.

At the heart of the solution is the econ peak load management system. It not only monitors the load management of the charging processes for electric vehicles, but also optimizes them, taking into account the entire property with other consumers and generators (e.g. photovoltaic system, combined heat and power plant) as well as energy storage systems. On this basis, the econ peak dynamically switches charging stations on or off. Users can also set additional parameters for individual consumers, e.g. priorities or minimum and maximum switch-on and switch-off times. In this way, econ peak ensures a constant load profile, which reduces energy costs and increases security of supply. econ peak can be used with practically all standard charging stations and wall charging stations (wallboxes) from various manufacturers.
